Menomonee Falls, WI – Elizabeth Schlicht, CAE, was recently installed as Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE). She has previously served as Secretary-Treasurer, Chair of the Membership Committee, Board Director and Young Professional Director for WSAE. She also received the Young Professional Award from WSAE in 2020.

Elizabeth currently serves as the Executive Director of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) and the Society for Mucosal Immunology (SMI) and just celebrated her ten-year anniversary with Association Acumen.

“I am excited to be able to serve the association professional community and WSAE membership in this new role. I am thankful for the many individuals I work with, both at Association Acumen, as well as the AFLA and SMI Boards, for their support and encouragement,” said Schlicht. “Our industry is a vibrant community of professionals who make an impact each day in the lives and industries of our members, and I’m honored to be able to support the work of our Wisconsin association as we aim to provide that same support to WSAE members.”

Schlicht is adept at creating and executing strategic membership and marketing plans, securing and growing sponsorship revenues, implementing and overseeing communications and content management initiatives and managing year-round educational offerings such as webinars and annual meeting programming. She achieved her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2017, holds a Bachelor of Music from Illinois Wesleyan University and is currently pursuing a Master of Strategic Management and Executive Leadership degree from Penn State.
