Association Acumen’s submission to the Association Management Company Institute’s (AMCI) Day in the Life video series won best screenplay for its “Transition Turnaround with an AMC” video. The winners of the second season of AMCI’s ‘Day in the Life’ video series were announced before a national audience at AMCs Engaged recently in Chicago, Illinois. The video series features content from Association Management Company members on how they help ensure their association clients grow and thrive.

The video focused on the successful financial transition of one of its clients, the National Vehicle Association (NVLA).

“The keys to a successful transition are really to be organized and have a detailed plan behind it,” Bill Elliott, CAE, Association Acumen’s Vice President of Operations, said.

“We really worked with the board members,” Mike Mathy, CAE, NVLA’s Executive Director, said. “The combination of their enthusiasm and passion for the industry coupled with the structure that Association Acumen provides as an association management company really fueled that growth.”

Elliott and Mathy starred in the video. Sandra Koehler, CAE, Association Acumen’s Compliance Director, produced the video.

The AMC Institute represents more than 180 AMC members throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
